Cleats for rubber and PVC conveyor belts enable efficient transport on inclined systems, preventing materials from sliding back. Commonly used for the upward conveying of both unit and bulk goods where stability and control are essential.
We offer cleats in stock that can be tailored to your specific requirements. Sold by the metre, they can be mounted using adhesive or vulcanization. Installation can be done by the customer, and we are always available to provide guidance on selection and setup.
Cleats are widely used in industries ranging from agriculture and food processing to construction, waste management, and recycling.
Looking to optimise your setup for inclined conveying? We’re ready to support you with both products and expertise.

How to install cleats on conveyor belts

Prepare the belt:Clean and degrease the surface thoroughly. Lightly roughen the area where the cleat will be placed.

Adjust the cleat:Cut the cleat to the correct length (we sell by the metre).

Apply adhesive or prepare for vulcanization:Use a suitable contact adhesive for rubber or PVC, or heat the area for cold or hot vulcanization.

Position and pressure:Press the cleat firmly onto the belt and allow it to cure. Use pressure or weight to ensure proper contact.

Test:Allow the adhesive to cure for at least 24 hours before operation. Check the attachment before use.
